The children took part in simple chemistry and physics experiments focused on detecting and removing pollutants from water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The activities were inspired by the <strong>STARDUST project (Grant No. WATER4ALL\/I\/20\/STARDUST\/2024)<\/strong>, funded under the Water4All Partnership programme, which focuses on developing optical methods for water quality monitoring. This allowed us to translate real research on water purification and contamination detection into age-appropriate, hands-on demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex During the visit, the students participated in hands-on chemistry and physics experiments illustrating how scientists detect pollutants in water and how different processes can help remove them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The demonstrations were inspired by research carried out within the <strong>STARDUST project (Grant No. WATER4ALL\/I\/20\/STARDUST\/2024)<\/strong> funded under the <strong>Water4All Partnership programme<\/strong>, which focuses on developing advanced optical methods for monitoring water quality. Through simple experiments adapted to the age of the students, we showed how real scientific research on water contamination and purification can be translated into engaging educational
